In memory of our grandfather Marius Tissot …
With this vintage, we wanted to pay tribute to our "grandpa" Marius, who until the very end "scraped" with his pickaxe and his beret, his plot of Gamay behind his house...
Even today, he inspires us with his generosity and his taste for simple things.
Tasting :
Made from a blend of our Pinot Noir (50%) and Gamay (50%) grape varieties, this wine combines the finesse of Pinot Noir, dominated by red fruits and low tannins, with the more rustic and mineral nature of our Gamay. All this makes for a balanced wine, slightly tannic while retaining a crisp side of ripe red fruits. A freshness and digestibility that does not tire the taste buds.
Food and wine pairings :
Enjoy it at a picnic or barbecue, pairing it with salads, sausages, and grilled meats. But thanks to the Pinot's finesse, this wine can also pair well with poultry with mushrooms, duck breast, or spicy oriental dishes, such as lamb tagine.
Keep for 4 to 5 years.
Serve between 15 and 16°.
Manual harvest between September 10 and 25, in 300 kg crates to avoid crushing the berries.
Vinification :
