Chignin Clay on Schists
This single-plot cuvée comes from two small plots located in the localities of Les Côtes and Les Châteaux-Montagny in Chignin, on a schistose kidney facing south and southeast. Its geology is very unique: a layer of schist covered with clay. This undoubtedly gives this beautiful Jacquère its complexity and extraordinary potential.

Coup de Théâtre - IGP Vin des Allobroges
Grape varieties jacquère , shepherd (roussanne) and highness
This vintage reflects both the fruitiness and elegance of Bergeron (grape variety of our Chignin-Bergeron), the delicacy of Altesse (grape variety of Roussette) and the freshness and minerality of Jacquère ( grape variety of our Chignin ).
Altesse grape variety – Roussette de Savoie appellation – White wine from Savoie
Legend has it that Anne of Lusignan or Anne of Cyprus , brought back the fruit bat from Cyprus in 1432, during her marriage to Louis I of Savoy.
Unlike our jacquère vintages, this Fruit bat is more rounded, with notes of candied fruit, dried apricot, all supported by a nice fatness and a pleasant freshness. With a little aging, this wine opens the world of candied and tertiary notes, notes quite rare for a Roussette, due to the "climate" that gave birth to it. All of it, assumed, without extremes, with balance and freshness.
