Description

Chignin Bergeron La Coulée de Proserpine

Cépage Bergeron (Roussanne)
13 à 14%vol

This wine comes from a unique parcel at the highest point of the sector known as Les Toises, on a narrow vertical sedimentary corridor on the southern slopes of the La Savoyarde mountain. Planted on limestone scree, the vines are vigorous, and produce extremely ripe grapes. This gives a deliciously juicy wine, without excess, that expresses all the freshness and fruit that is characteristic of Bergeron : intense fruit (dried apricot, almond paste, preserved citrus) with spicy, oaky notes. Palate : harmonious balance between the generosity of the fruit and freshness.

Chignin Bergeron Exception

Cépage Bergeron (Roussanne)
13 à 14%vol

Exception is a blend of four different terroirs from four separate parcels scattered across three villages in the Chignin-Bergeron appellation. see map. It is this diversity that makes Exception exceptional. It contains the power of the southern slopes, the minerality of the deposits of white earth, and the freshness of the more northerly terroir. Palate : full and powerful notes of dried apricot, crystalized fruit and citrus. Great opulence, freshness and magnificent minerality.

Chignin Vieilles Vignes

Cépage jacquère
11,5 %vol

A single grape is used to make this wine, Jacquère, that is only to be found in the Savoie and bordering areas. Our different parcels of old vines, some of which are more than 100 years old, grow for the most part on the well-draining limestone scree slopes of La Savoyarde. Palate : fresh and ethereal with a persistent minerality and a finish of great precision.

“Ripe Soleil” Vin Orange – IGP Allobroge

Cépages jacquère, bergeron, altesse et chardonnay

The “orange wine” is a macerated white wine (vinified like a red wine). Made from our 4 white grape varieties, Jacquère, Bergeron, Altesse and Chardonnay, the grapes fermented for several weeks with their skins and pips. This dry wine, with a moderate alcohol content (12% vol.), and more or less orange reflections, is distinguished by notes of infusion and green tea, thanks to the lightly infused tannins of bergeron and roussette, and the freshness of Jacquère.
